Toys & Collectibles

There has always been an element of nolstagia to buying toys at auction, with collectors and enthusiasts are often reminiscing back to their childhood and buying items they could not have at the time.

A new interest in 80s toys has seen big prices achieved for item such as Sindy & Barbie toys as well as Action man and movie related toys and memorabilia.

Items by model railway manufacturers like Hornby, Bachmann, Lionel Bros, Tri-ang, Bing and others fetch the highest possible prices at our auctions, as buyers from around the globe, intent on creating full sets and layouts, compete for items.

Dinky and Corgi die-cast toys, constructor kits, Airfix and Star Wars models have been highly collectable for many years, especially with their boxes, and often high prices can be acheived for the smallest pieces.

Even in poor condition, Steiff bears from the 1900s achieve phenomenal hammer prices, with our last rare example making £1,600 to an avid Steiff collector who was thrilled to have him go home with her!
