You Only Bid Twice!

To launch the sale earlier this month of a fantastic private collection of Ian Flemming first editions and memorabilia Stamford Auction Rooms had a glamorous and fascinating evening reception.  Hosted by Jessica Wall, Vesper Lynd-like in a stunning dress by Ghost, the drinks and canapes were accompanied by two talks, by Stamford Auction Rooms senior valuer Sophie Chapman on the jewels and Jewellery of Bond, and the development of the Walther PPK, Bond's trusty pistol of choice by Magnus Sigurdsson, Film Action Props armourer for a number of recent Bond films.  A wonderful time was had by all.
