Moonstones are becoming increasingly popular, and when mixed with a Victorian Jeweller's mastery they are irresistible. Each of the graduated oval stones in this stunning bracelet almost glowed with a fantastic schiller, taking it to five times its estimate of £80-£120, selling for £500.
Often seen as the golden era of jewellery craftsmanship, this Edwardian starburst seed-pearl, and emerald pendant brooch was no exception, and brought in fierce bidding taking it to a hammer price of £740.
For the romantics out there this was a stunning snake head ring, the two snakes signifying eternal love, emphasised with diamond set eyes, it soared over its £200-£400 estimate the hammer finally falling at £900.
Fire opals should draw the eye and this ring was no exception, with a radiance emanating from the stone, it gleamed, drawing commission, online and telephone bids, before finally selling sell over its £100-£200 estimate for £550.
