A Japanese charger, likely Edo period, decorated in the Imari palette, with off-set couple holding a parasol with mountains behind within a cobalt blue border, with chrysanthemums, bamboo trellis and flowers to the side, and having gilded highlights, with prunus blossom branches to the outside, and underglazed blue apocryphal Chinese marks to the base for Ming Dynasty, Jiajing reign, 32cm diameter.
